Nick Cannon Forgets To Name His Daughter Onyx When Asked To List All 12 Of His Children
Nick Cannon’s recent interview may have landed him in a bit of trouble with the mothers of his children.
In a recent interview with Howard Stern, the famed television host was asked if he can list all of his children without forgetting any names. Without hesitation, Nick Cannon said:
“I could name all of – of course! Can’t you name all of your kids?”
Nick Cannon then started to list off his children, beginning with his oldest twins that he shares with his ex-wife Mariah Carey.
“Moroccan and Monroe, which we call Rock and Roll.”
In the video clip of the awkward exchange, the 42-year-old used his fingers to keep track of his children and continued:
“Golden. Powerful. And then Zion, Zillion, Zen.”
He added:
“From there…there’s…Legendary Love, then there’s Rise.”
The video clip was cut but it appears that, despite his best efforts to name all 12 of his children, Cannon forgot to mention his ninth child, Onyx Ice, who he shares with LaNisha Cole.
After Howard Stern let Cannon know he didn’t name all 12 kids, the “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” star defended himself and said:
“Ah, no! You know, I did. You threw me off because I was going in order!”

As you may recall, Cannon has created a very large family tree over the years. As mentioned above, the “Wild N Out” creator shares twins Monroe and Moroccan, 11, with famed singer/ex-wife Mariah Carey; Golden Saigon, 6, Powerful Queen, 2, and Rise, 6 months, with dancer Brittany Bell; twins Zillion and Zion, 21 months, and daughter Beautiful, 5 months, with DJ Abby De La Rosa; late son Zen, and daughter Halo Marie, 4 months, with model Alyssa Scott. He also shares Legendary, 9 months, with Bre Tiesi and Onyx, 6 months, with LaNisha Cole.
Hopefully, the mothers of Cannon’s children can find humor in the now-viral interview.
