Wendy Williams ‘Begged’ Friends To Sneak Her Booze In Water Bottles To Avoid Relapse ‘Suspicion’ Following Recent Rehab Stay 

Wendy Williams’ request for booze seemingly didn’t go as planned.

According to reports, the former television host made a number of phone calls requesting that her friends bring her clear liquor in water bottles to her New York City penthouse. Wendy Williams, 58, was seemingly hopeful the water bottle disguise would help avoid “suspicion” that she relapsed.

According to an insider, Wendy Williams “was calling several people early Saturday morning, begging people to bring her booze.”

The source then explained her mindset behind wanting the clear liquor placed in water bottles and said:

“She was asking for clear liquor to be brought to her in water bottles so no one would suspect it.”

The source also alleged Williams called her friends’ phones repeatedly and demanded that they give in to her request. 

“She would ask, and then call repeatedly to follow up on her request.”

Thankfully, it’s been reported that Williams’ friends ignored her wishes. As previously reported, last year it was revealed that the famed media mogul received two blood transfusions after she was hospitalized due to her reported alcohol addiction.

During that time, DJ Boof and her other friends allegedly found Williams unresponsive in her apartment. Her former manager – Bernie Young – reportedly refused to call for help over fear his client would make headlines.

A source shared:

“She was in her robe, it was soiled, she was catatonic, she was in a very, very bad state. She was looking at the ceiling. She was just not responsive, but her eyes were open, but she was definitely in a catatonic state.”

DJ Boof allegedly fed the New Jersey native ice chips to keep her hydrated. Williams reportedly checked into a Malibu wellness facility last September where she spent up to two months getting help for her health issues.
