It looks like there’s a method to the madness after all.
Nick Cannon, who’s fathered 12 children with six different women, says he has a method for deciding which of his partners’ homes he will sleep at.
During a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Nick Cannon revealed,
“A lot of times it’s whichever of them has called me that day, to be honest. I am such a creature of habit. I like who like me.”
Nick Cannon stated that he sometimes plans the route to drop off his many children with his partners and sleeps at whoever’s home he arrives at last.

As for the reason why he’s had so many children, he said he was a people-pleaser and wanted to give the women in his life the kids they desired.
“A lot of them [his partners] are in the same age group. And I just wanted to give them what they desired. I kept saying, ‘I can handle it.'”
The “Wild ‘N Out” host shares 11-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey. Cannon is also dad to sons Golden and Rise Messiah, as well as daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell. He shares son Legendary with Bre Tiesi, daughter Onyx with LaNisha Cole, and three children — daughter Beautiful and twin boys Zion and Zillion — with Abby De La Rosa. Cannon most recently welcomed his 12th child, daughter Halo Marie, with Alyssa Scott in December. He and Scott were also parents to son Zen, who passed away at five months from a brain tumor in 2021.
Back in December 2022, the actor confessed that his “biggest guilt” stems from his busy schedule and not being able to see his children as often as he would like. He said:
“Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children.”
While Cannon may struggle with time management amongst his children, it appears the comedian is at peace with his current lifestyle. During a recent episode of his ‘The Daily Cannon’ radio show, Cannon said he enjoys being a side dude.
“I enjoy being a side n**a….I’d rather be a side dude who knows everything than a manin dude who is in the dark.. I’m just saying. I believe it, I live it, I love it. “
He continued,
“I have trust issues, gotten my heart broken a lot of times… Honestly, I’d rather know everything. If we out here in these streets together then lets be that and let’s not lie to one another. Let’s just keep it a stack.”
