LisaRaye Defends Chris Brown Following Reports Of His Recent Altercations: ‘Every Time His Name Is Brought Up He Always Get Automatically Blamed’
LisaRaye is tired of Chris Brown being criticized.
In a recent episode of FOX Soul’s “Cocktails with Queens,” LisaRaye, 55, defended Chris Brown, 34, as she and her co-hosts discussed the altercations he was recently involved in. At the start of the conversation, LisaRaye asked:
“Why he gotta chill?”
As previously reported, Chris Brown allegedly had disputes with fellow singers Teyana Taylor, 32, and Usher, 44, last week. The crazy ordeal kicked off after Chris reportedly screamed “f*ck her” at Teyana Taylor during his Las Vegas birthday skate party on May 5. Reports vary on why he yelled at the “A Thousand and One” actress.
However, Usher came to her defense which reportedly caused a bigger altercation. Allegedly, Chris and his crew got into a fight with Usher outside of the establishment and left the “My Boo” singer with a bloody nose.
None of the entertainers have confirmed nor denied these allegations.

However, according to LisaRaye, Chris Brown shouldn’t be judged for speaking his mind to his friend. She expressed:
“What if he felt just like what he said? ‘F— her.’ What if he felt like that? And he saying that to his friend?”
She continued:
“What I don’t like about it is that every time we bring up his name, not us, but every time his name is brought up, he always get automatically blamed. Because he is that way, we know him to be that. So it gotta be him.”
She added:
“That’s what I don’t like, when people have that kind of stigma ‘cause I got that. It’s quick for you to think that ‘oh well, LisaRaye would’ve did that, or ‘LisaRaye said that.’ And I don’t like that becasue that very next time it could’ve been different, but you blame me because of my past.”
Following the Teyana Taylor and Usher incident, Chris made headlines once again for his actions. The “No Air” singer was spotted at the “Lovers and Friends” concert yelling at individuals backstage.

Even though Chris has been mute about what occurred at his skate party, he did recently address the shouting match that took place before his latest performance.
In a now-deleted comment, he said:
“Y’all been geeked all weekend, y’all dragging it now. It was mad people backstage and security was trying to clear everyone off the stage. People started pushing back.. I INTERVENED to let them know MY CHILD WAS BACK THERE. So y’all can keep ya narrative.”
