According to details surrounding the deal, the media conglomerate made the business move to (seemingly) increase the production’s reach and bring in a new wave of viewership.
In addition to ‘Insecure”s introduction to Netflix, fellow heavy-hitter shows like ‘Band of Brothers,’ ‘The Pacific, ‘Six Feet Under,‘ and ‘Ballers’ are also in negotiations to join the video-on-demand service.
