Reportedly, authorities responded to reports of a drowning on July 7th in Marietta, Georgia, and arrived at the home of the “Married to Medicine” star. Police were reportedly told by two men present at the scene that they were hanging out at the pool before briefly going inside. When they returned, the gentlemen said they thought they were looking at a doll in the pool before realizing it was the young girl. They then immediately called for help. Upon arrival, police said firefighters were giving medical attention to the child. She was transferred to Scottish Rite Hospital where she unfortunately succumbed to her injuries.

After news of the girl’s drowning was made public, sources reportedly confirmed that the child was Aryanna “Ari” Rice, daughter of Tamica Webb and great-niece of Quad Webb. The reality star, real name Quadriyyah Webb, 43, previously posted a tribute to the young girl on her third birthday, penning in a sweet message:

“Wow, I cant’t beliebe my baby is 3 years old today! I remember you falling to sleep laying on my chest. You absolutely stole my heart from the moment I saw you; Ari you’re so special to me and I’m grateful to be apart of your life! I got you forever!!!! Happy birthday chocolate drop”

At this time it remains unclear if Webb was at her home when the fatal drowning took place. A rep for the media personality released a statement on behalf of the family that read:
