Comedian Lil Rel Proposes To Girlfriend At Beyoncé’s Los Angeles Show On Renaissance Tour, Reveals Tina Lawson & Jay-Z Helped Coordinate Proposal

Lil Rel put his love on top during a very special event on Monday (Sept. 4).

The comedian (real name Milton Howrey) got engaged during the final show of Beyoncé‘s three-night run in Los Angeles for her Renaissance tour. As if popping the question isn’t memorable enough, the proposal took place on Beyoncé‘s birthday.

In his caption, Lil Rel said,

“SHE SAID YES!!!! What a story lol. Thanks @mstinaknowles and Jay for helping make this special moment happen. Tonight @beyonce put on an amazing B Day show thanks for letting have a little time on your show lol to make @dannellalane my fiancée… Love On Top!!! #LoveIsInTheAir #TheProposal”

As shown by her own Instagram post announcing the engagement, Lil Rel‘s fiancée, Danella Lane, is clearly dangerously in love with her boo and couldn’t be happier about sharing the event with Beyoncé. She said,

“OMG OMG OMG!!! Wait let me pinch myself! Yep it’s real OMG OMG OMG!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY I SAID YES to the man of my dreams, my sweetface, my answered prayer! @comedianlilrel babe you put our love on TOP and I’m honored and grateful!!!”

Danella Lane added,

“On the car ride home I said ‘what am I going to do with you’ and you replied ‘we have the rest of our lives to figure it out’ OMG OMG – Thank you @mstinaknowles @beyonce and @jayz for helping my FIANCÉ pull this off and for sharing your bday with us! A whole Fiancé at Beyoncé!!!!”
