Joseline Hernandez, 36, dished about the major checks she was cashing with the reality TV producer Carlos King. Explaining how her contracts skyrocketed the longer she remained on the series, Hernandez stated:
“Within the first week I went from making like $1,500 per episode to making $11,000 per episode. In a week. I didn’t ask for them to bump me up, they bumped me up.”

She continued:
“Then second season, I was making like $15,000, and then like by the end of second season I went up to like $20,000…they just kept bumping me up. They was just throwing money at me they was like ‘we don’t want her not to come to work’…they would just bump me up. They did that for years.”
King then went on to ask the self proclaimed Puerto Rican Princess if she remembers how much she was making her last season on the show. Hernandez starred on “L&HHA” from 2012 to 2017 alongside her then longtime boyfriend Stevie J. Immediately, the entertainer rose in popularity, quickly becoming a fan favorite for her no nonsense attitude and fearless pursuit at stardom. The ongoing quarrel between Hernandez and the mother of Stevie’s eldest daughter, Mimi Faust, also played a significant role in her upward trajectory to fame.
Hernandez‘ success on the show apparently didn’t go unrewarded. The rapper claims she was making a huge bag by the time she exited the series. Answering King’s question about how much she made her final season per episode, she stated:
“$50,000…if I go do a show…for like a month, I’m gonna get $1.5, $2 million quick…and my pick up bonuses in Love & Hip Hop were like $250/$300 thousand dollars every season.”
Shocked, King went on to speculate that the reality star was likely the highest paid personality on Vh1 at the time, to which Hernandez clarified she believes she was the highest paid for sure on the show. The musician also doubled down on getting pick up bonuses from whatever network she’s working with. Hernandez revealed that even for her current show on Zeus “Joseline’s Cabaret”, which she created and executive produces, she still gets her pick up bonus, stating:
“I own Joseline’s Cabaret…I own the show, [I’m] executive producer, I created it, I produce it, I write. But I still get a pick up bonus to come to work…I’ve always put in my contract to where they have to give me a pick up bonus…I get my back end but in the front end you gotta make me happy to.”
