Kanye West has gotten himself into some legal trouble yet again.

Venice police are investigating the rapper now known as Ye, 46, and his alleged wife, Bianca Censori, after cameras captured the newlyweds in the middle of an inappropriate act during a romantic vacation in the Italian city last week. Images that went viral online showed Bianca Censori, 28, kneeling in front of Kanye West, who had his bare buttocks on a boat.

They were reportedly surrounded by other boats crammed to the gills with tourists, all of whom had an excellent view of their display.

A police source said,

“There are standards of public decorum that have to be followed by tourists and locals alike and any breaches are severely punished. The images of West with his trousers down while in a taxi as he and his partner crossed the lagoon were seen all over the globe.”

They continued,

“You could clearly see his trousers were half down and we have received complaints from people who witnessed it. Now we have identified the driver of the boat and we will be asking him what he saw as well. The images show the couple clearly in a state of intimacy and if the local prosecutor decides to press charges then we will notify the couple, most probably through the relevant embassies.”

Bianca Censori could be seen resting her head on her rapper husband’s lap in other photos as he rode in the back of a river taxi.

Police reportedly plan to question the taxi driver about what he witnessed on the boat. They also want photographers to hand in the viral, inappropriate photos of the couple.

The Venice police source added,

“The offense being investigated is acts contrary to public decency which is punishable by an administrative sanction.”

People in the British tourist city have been known to receive violations for activities including open air picnics, swimming in canals and laying out on public building steps.

Elisabetta Pesce, a Venice councilwoman in charge of public safety, said,

“Without a doubt, what we saw from the couple was a lack of respect for Venice, which is the most alluring city in the world.”

Venezia Turismo Motascafi, which owns the vessel the couple was aboard, claimed to be uninformed about what happened. The third passenger in the taxi, traveling with Kanye West and Bianca Censori, was described as obstructing the captain’s view of the back of the boat.

The Italian rental firm said if the boat’s captain had seen the pair’s indecent exposure, they would have been kicked off. Since then, they’ve been banned from using the boats again.

According to a source close to the city’s mayor Luigi Brugnaro,

“Venice is famous for being one of the most beautiful cities in the world and we expect tourists to maintain a respectable level of decency when visiting. These public acts of spectacle are not what we or the millions of tourists who come here each year wish to see and we take a very dim view of it.”

The source added,

“We can only hope that the prosecutor imposes a fine and then the couple will think long and hard about their behaviour if they return to Venice in the future.”

Ye and Censori initially became romantically involved in January 2023, a few months after his divorce from Kim Kardashian was finalized. The couple wed in a secret ceremony in Beverly Hills in January.
