Cardi B Responds To Kenneth Petty, Husband Of Nicki Minaj, Getting Clowned On Social Media Over Reports He Was Placed On House Arrest For Threatening Offset: ‘Keep Me & My Mans Out Y’all F*ckin’ Mouth’

Apparently, Nicki Minaj’s husband’s recent comments toward Offset weren’t so “petty” after all.

If you didn’t know, this past weekend, Kenneth Petty had a few choice words for the spouse of his wife’s longtime rival, Cardi B, and they have since landed him in trouble with the law.

The latest issue between Kenneth Petty and Offset (reportedly) stemmed from a situation that went down at the VMAs last week.

While it’s unclear what the problem was (exactly), shortly after the matter, the beef broke the internet. In the now-viral clip, Kenneth Petty and a few of his associates made major threats to Offset. The 45-year-old said:

“Where n*ggas at, man? Huh? Yeah! Plan that vacation? You gon’ be planning your funeral, p*ssy. [My] ear always to the street, n*gga. On everything, n*gga! Let’s play, let’s play! What’s up?”

Allegedly, Petty and his crew were outside the hotel where Offset was staying for the night. Prior to his aggressive sentiments, Petty’s friend yelled,

“Offset, where you at?”

Throughout the footage, Petty’s posse insinuated that Offset was a little rowdy with one of them in the DMs, which (seemingly) strengthened their reason for the pull-up.

Additionally, in the second part of the tirade, Petty continued to ask about the Migos lyricist’s whereabouts and encouraged an on-site meetup.

Subsequently, supposed messages from Offset to one of Petty’s homies were posted online, and Offset comically clapped back during the brief exchange.

Following the violence-driven recordings, Petty was ironically placed on house arrest for 120 days due to his threats being a probation violation.

According to legal journalist Meghann Cuniff,

“An LA federal judge has ordered Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, to serve ‘up to’ 120 days on home detention for ‘making threatening remarks toward a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record.'”

She added:

“The individual is Offset, Cardi B’s husband.”

If you remember, Petty was on home confinement in July 2022 and given three years of probation for failing to register as a sex offender. Previously, Petty served a four-year-plus sentence for the (reported) attempted rape of a woman named Jennifer Hough in 1994.

When speaking of Petty’s recent term breach, the newest document read,

“Mr. Petty was recorded on video making threatening remarks towards a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record. This recent violation conduct raises concerns over Mr. Petty’s willingness to comply with the Court’s orders.”

It furthered:

“As such, the Probation Officer believes placement in the Location Monitoring Program will effectively allow for closer monitoring of Mr. Petty’s activities, limit his movements, provide a sanction for his non-compliance, and hopefully encourage him to reflect upon and reevaluate his current status in the community.”

Offset’s mate, fellow rapper Cardi B, responded to the news by co-signing a tweet from blogger ItsKenBarbie who cited that Petty is only to blame for being put back on the ankle monitor.

In a quote from Meghann Cuniff’s X post, ItsKenBarbie stated,

“They’re definitely trying to flip the narrative like [Kenneth Petty] didn’t do what he did on Instagram and tag every blog in it. Be mad at him and HIS friends.”

Cardi B said in agreement:

“Exactly! Keep me and my mans out y’all f*ckin mouth!!!”

Of course, Cardi B wasn’t the only one who addressed the drama on X. Other users have started to pour in with their opinions as well.
