It looks like Mario Lopez may not be the reason for the break up of Jeannie Mai and Jeezy’s once-happy home. 

Previous reports suggest that Jeannie Mai is devastated following news of her divorce from Jeezy, and now the television personality has to battle cheating allegations.

Ever since Jeezy filed to divorce Jeannie Mai on September 14, there has been much speculation on what led to the couple’s demise.

You may have heard one unfounded claim which asserted that Jeannie Mai stepped out on Jeezy with Mario Lopez. What began as an innocent post is now being used against Jeannie Mai as she navigates her divorce. The former co-host of “The Real” shared clips on her social media from her time co-hosting “Access Hollywood” with Mario Lopez last month. However, social media detectives began to put a new spin on the pair’s on-screen chemistry, which led to the spread of the allegations.

Despite what people on the internet may assume, sources close to Jeannie said there’s absolutely no truth to the infidelity rumors with Mario or with anyone else. The extent of their connection does not expand beyond a working relationship according to sources.

As the divorce continues to unfold in the public eye, it has been reported that Jeannie is heartbroken and wants to focus on making the best decisions for her and Jeezy’s 1-year-old child, Monaco. Jeezy may be leaving Jeannie but it appears he wants to remain an active presence in their daughter’s life since he is allegedly requesting joint custody.

At this time, it remains unclear how the Jenkins went from a seemingly happy family unit to finding themselves in a place where the marriage is deemed “irretrievably broken” with “no hope for reconciliation.” This is Jeannie’s second marriage, as the former talk show host was married to Freddy Harteis from 2007 to 2018.
