If you missed witnessing the superstar live on her 56 show concert series, you may still get a chance to experience the moment. Reportedly, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, 42, is in the final stages of closing a deal with AMC to bring “Beyoncé, The Renaissance World Tour” concert film to theaters nationwide. The power move by AMC comes on the heels of them orchestrating a similar deal with country pop star Taylor Swift, who is set to release the concert film version of her “Era’s Tour” beginning October 13th.

The report notes that pre-sales for Swift’s coming movie began two weeks ago and has already hit $65 million in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Opening weekend earnings have been projected to land between $75-$125 million, possibly making it the highest grossing concert film of all time. Like Beyoncé, the “Cruel Summer” artist had her highest grossing tour ever this year, which concluded back in August. Spanning over 146 shows, the pop star reportedly raked in $1 billion for the US economy. Beyoncé, however, saw record breaking numbers with her “Renaissance” tour, based on her 7th studio album of the same name. The most awarded Grammy artist will reportedly have generated $4.5 billion towards the US economy when her show concludes later today (October 1st) in Kansas City, MO.

It’s no surprise with the success of the tour that AMC partnered with Beyoncé to release the concert film in theaters. With several movie delays due to the Hollywood strike, the fall movie season stood to take a huge hit for theaters as many movies slated to be released between October – December have been rescheduled for 2024 dates. However, AMC CEO Adam Aron reportedly was able to think smart and quick on how to offset some of the financial loss, inking deals with music super stars such as Taylor and Beyoncé.

Mrs. Carter’s last concert movie “Homecoming” was released on Netflix in 2019 following her Coachella performance the year prior and did record numbers on the streaming platform. At this time no details about the musician’s deal with AMC have been released. However, it has been noted that the movie is expected to drop on the 1st of December, with an announcement about the movie reportedly coming sooner than later.

Reportedly, Beyoncé shot the film over a two day period in her hometown of Houston, Texas sometime recently. No other details about the film have been confirmed at this time.
