‘Teen Mom 2’ Alum Jenelle Evans Under Investigation For Neglect Following Son’s 3rd Runaway Incident & Allegations Her Husband Abused The Teen

Jenelle Evans has once again landed in the spotlight for questionable reasons.

As previously reported, In August the mother-of-three faced backlash after her 14-year-old son Jace ran away from home twice within a two-week time span. If you’ve been watching Jenelle Evans since her “16 and Pregnant” days then you already know that her mother, Barbara Evans, raised Jace for most of his life. Despite her differences with her daughter, in March of this year, the 70-year-old grandmother relinquished custody of the teen to Jenelle.

Unfortunately, the transition hasn’t been a smooth one for Jace, which, according to Barbara Evans, has a lot to do with Jenelle allegedly taking him off his ADHD medication and ending his behavioral therapy sessions.

Last week the high schooler went missing again and was later found with visible marks on his neck and arm. Before he was located, Jace reportedly called his grandmother and told her he was “hiding” because his stepdad – David Eason – physically assaulted him. Allegedly, the incident was captured by a Ringdoor camera and CPS now has possession of the footage.

Yesterday (Oct. 3) Eason released a statement on IG, denying what his stepson said. In part, he wrote,

“You people really need help! Our kids are in our custody and anything you read is not true! Police reports have been falsified and the truth is already apparent to everyone involved. Barbara is NOT involved and she is NOT allowed to speak to him right now.”

It seems Eason’s statement hasn’t stopped authorities from taking the allegations and Jace’s multiple runaway attempts seriously. According to reports, Jenelle and her husband are currently under investigation for child neglect. Reportedly, the couple could face more repercussions depending on what’s determined surrounding Jace’s claims.
