Rick Ross Says Jada Pinkett Smith is Psychologically Lost & Her Memoir ‘Flopped’ Because Actress ‘Told Us Everything’
Rick Ross Speaks On Jada Pinkett Smith’s ‘Worthy’ Book Tour, Says Her Memoir ‘Flopped’ Because Actress ‘Told Us Everything’
Rick Ross is keeping it candid towards Jada Pinkett Smith and her memoir “Worthy.”
During a recent interview published on Monday (Nov. 6), rapper Rick Ross, 47, shared his thoughts surrounding Jada Pinkett Smith’s latest book release. The topic was brought up during the sit-down due to Rick Ross previously working with the 52-year-old actress’ former lover, singer August Alsina, 31.
As you may recall, the musical artists dropped their collaboration single “Entanglements” in 2020, seemingly in reference to Jada Pinkett Smith admitting to having an “entanglement” with Alsina while separated from her husband, actor Will Smith, 55. According to reports, the pair met through her and Will Smith’s son, Jaden Smith, in 2015.
Pinkett Smith’s bio novel, released on October 17, reportedly details what’s happening in her marriage to Will Smith, her rough upbringing in Baltimore with parents battling addiction, and her struggles with depression and PTSD.
When Ross was asked about his thoughts on Pinkett Smith’s new project and press tour, he expressed,
“I don’t think I agree with Jada Pinkett. To me, she’s psychologically lost and needs some counseling. Jesus! What you going to tell us next? When you tell us you haven’t been together in six years, you haven’t had sex in this many years, you don’t have a prenuptial agreement — OK, what’s next?”
Ross continued,
“I heard the book flopped because she already told us everything. No one cares. That’s what they don’t understand. Sometimes as celebrities you can get out of touch. Will Smith isn’t the same Will Smith as he was 20 years ago. Jada Pinkett … come on, Jada! Chill out, baby! You were in the movie Set It Off, and that’s all we know you from. You got $15K for that role and that’s it.”
Ross added,
“Calm down. You f*ck*d your son’s best friend. You said your son introduced you to psychedelics. What’s next?! And to be honest, we’re not interested! I don’t want to know if Tupac got alopecia! Jada, Rozay still got love for you, but go sit down.”
As we’ve previously covered, the TV/movie star’s new memoir “Worthy” failed to top multiple best seller lists, despite her influence and jaw-dropping revelations in the media. Reportedly, the project only reached the #81 spot on Amazon Books best sellers. In addition, the book didn’t reach the top 100 list on Kindle and at Barnes & Noble.
Meanwhile, it’s reported that pop star Britney Spears’ memoir “The Woman In Me,” released on October 24, has outsold “Worthy” at Barnes & Noble.
