Rappers Lil Baby & Saweetie + ‘RHOA’ Alum Cynthia Bailey Join ‘BMF’ For Season 3
BMF is back and with some new faces!
The third season of the hit Starz series will see rapper Dominique “Lil Baby” Jones make his acting debut as a foot soldier from Atlanta, Georgia. Saweetie and former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey will also join the star-studded lineup.
Saweetie will portray a former collegiate athlete on the streets of St. Louis and Cynthia Bailey will play Gloria, Detective Bryant’s ex-wife grappling with their son’s legal battle.
Ne-Yo & 2 Chainz Tapped For Season 3 Of Hit Starz Series ‘BMF’
BMF tells the story of “Black Mafia Family” founders Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory as they built what became the most renowned drug distribution network in American history.
According to the series’ official logline,
“BMF continues the storyline of the inspiring true legends of brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory (Demetrius Flenory, Jr.) and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory (Da’Vinchi), who fostered one of the most influential crime families in the country known as Black Mafia Family. We parachute into the early 90s in Season 3 with Meech moving to Atlanta, where he hopes to build upon the BMF empire in the south that he and Terry fostered in Detroit and rise to the top of the Atlanta drug scene.”
It adds,
“At the same time, Terry remains in the “D” to handle business. Charles Flenory (Russell Hornsby) and Lucille Flenory’s (Michole Briana White) marriage remains on the rocks, and Detective Bryant (Steve Harris) and Detective Jin (Kelly Hu) return as partners often on opposite sides of the law who find common ground in their determination to take down BMF.”
As previously reported, Ne-Yo and 2 Chainz have also been tapped for the upcoming season of the show.
BMF returns on March 1, 2024.
