The new love of rapper Rick Ross‘ life had some not-so-lovely words for her haters!

If you didn’t know, Rick Ross and his girlfriend, artist/fitness coach Cristina Mackey, recently went viral after making their relationship “Instagram official.”

In the original post, Rick Ross and Cristina Mackey are seen hugged up outside of a private jet, as she captioned the photo,

“Use it as motivation.”

Following the image of Rick Ross and Cristina Mackey “boo’d up,” the internet (seemingly) took offense to the 27-year-old’s power-couple reference and lit up the comments in frustration.

In response to the romantic pair’s presumed reveal, someone in the comments wrote to Ross:

“Will she love on you the same way if you happen to lose it all?”

Another user added with laughing emojis,

“He delulu if he think she’d love him without the money.”

Much of the online chatter surrounding Mackey and Ross alluded to Mackey (assumedly) using the celebrated lyricist as a money grab.

However, following the scrutiny, the social media personality shared a video on her Instagram addressing the matter.

She started, gushing about her union with the ‘Too Good to Be True’ rhymer,

“I can tell by a lot of the comments on my page that y’all have never had a man keep you in your power. Y’all have never had a man give you reassurance you didn’t even know you needed. You don’t got too much consistency going on, I can tell.”

Passively shutting down the gold-digger claims, Mackey proceeded:

“Y’all don’t like to see nobody winning, y’all don’t like to see nobody happy.”

Ultimately, Mackey expanded in the clip by making it known that she’s in it for the long haul with Ross, and any pushback from the public is irrelevant to her.

The studying nurse said,

“It’s something about a man that can keep you in your power that’ll make you wanna ride until the wheels fall off! What? It’s no way I care about what you think! It’s no way. It’s no way that you think that I think that I care about what you think. Couldn’t be true.”

Mackey concluded:

It’s something about a man that corrects you properly when you’re wrong that makes [you] want to ride! [laughs] Y’all gotta be real.”

47-year-old Ross backed his woman in the replies by dropping a few diamond emojis and reposting her video to his Story.

While it’s not known how long the duo has been kicking it, it’s pretty clear that they’ve had a good thing going for a minute now.

Mackey furthered her sentiments in her Story, uploading a meme along with Destiny’s Child’s “Dangerously in Love.”

As you may know, Ross was previously linked to comedienne Pretty Vee last year. Mackey, on the other hand, is said to have dated music mogul J. Prince Jr.
