DJ Akademiks Faces Accusations Of Sexually Assaulting Woman He Slammed For Having Threesome w/ His Friends & Allegedly Grooming Underage Girls: ‘Lock His A** Up’

Media personality DJ Akademiks is facing some very serious allegations.

The podcaster has been drawing backlash since blasting one of his former partners for allegedly having sex with his friends while he slept, which later turned into claims of sexual assault and grooming accusations.

It seems the situation began following an episode of his podcast Off The Record. In one clip, DJ Akademiks, real name Livingston Allen, was explaining what happened that led to his home being raided by police. The 32-year-old says that one night he went out with the of his friends with the intention of getting drunk and received a message from one of his old flings that wanted to meet up. Akademiks claimed it’d been about a year since they last saw one another, but spent $200 on an Uber so the woman could meet him at his place after returning home.

However, the YouTuber says he passed out as soon as they arrived to his house from being drunk. The next morning, he says he watched security footage and saw the young woman having sex with his two friends. At first, Akademiks says she claimed to have had fun prior to realizing he’d seen what happened. After he confronted her about the sexual encounter, however, Akademiks claimed she began vehemently denying any intercourse took place, which only increasingly aggravated him. He explained in the podcast episode:

“I’m shaming her now…I said to her, ‘Yo, I’ma keep it a bean with you. You came to my house and had two n***as f**k you raw.’ I ain’t seen no condom, no nothing. I said to her, ‘You should go get tested, bro.'”

Adding:

“From that moment, she kept trying to pivot on the denial, like, ‘Yo, send me the video, I’m pretty sure I didn’t f**k him.’ Now I’m getting super tight, because bro, I’m not about to watch this video of you getting f***ed, it’s on my surveillance camera. I was f***ing with you.”

The woman, who has since been identified as an aspiring model named Ziya Abashé, subsequently came out with a much different story. In a short posted to her YouTube, she claimed that Akademiks isn’t being truthful, and accused him of taking part in the incident as well. She stated:

“You tried to save yourself after your friends assaulted me. Whether or not you got drunk or not, I know that when you woke up you were on top of me too. You r*ped me too and a r*pe kit was done.”

She also made clear her intention to come back at a later time and tell her side of things in full. According to Akademiks, Ziya did in fact go to police days after the incident which led to the raid on his home. However, he claims no one was charged with anything as authorities decided there wasn’t enough evidence to prove a rape had taken place. It seems the story alone was enough for people to start diving deeper into questionable actions by Akademiks. Shortly after the story went viral, a clip of him boldly stating that he’ll have sex with a woman whether she’s 17 or 21 has since resurfaced, drawing in even more criticism.

Subsequently, more women came forward with stories about Akademiks contacting them at 17-year-olds and waiting until they turned 18 to fly them out and have sex with them. Some of the accusers shared their interactions with the commentator via anonymous messaging, with some including screenshots of Akademiks reaching out to them.

It seems the combined situations have been enough for many to call for Akademiks to be stripped of his platform and possible see some jail time. Many have been discussing the situation online with some stating the allegations don’t surprise them while others simply expressed their disgust.

Another video of a woman screaming in Akademiks‘ home seemingly implicated him even further in Ziya’s rape allegation. However, the media personality has since denied that video is connected to the situation, writing to his X (formerly Twitter) account:

“Fake news asf. this video is a drunk woman who never got smashed by no body friends lol shes screaming cuz she seen blogs posted a clip of me talking about her and it made her look bad. try again”
