Cardi B Paid Double The Amount Of Estranged Husband Offset’s Rate In Dueling NYE Performances, Sources Say
Hopefully, jealousy isn’t at the root of the ongoing tension between couple Cardi B and Offset.
Reports recently revealed that the “Money” singer is currently bringing in revenue that seemingly puts her at a much higher demand than her fellow rapper husband Offset.

Sources familiar with the matter claim that while both Cardi B, real name Belcalis Almánzar Cephus, 31, and Offset, real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus, 32, were booked at the same location for New Year’s Eve performances, one was paid significantly more than the other. As viral videos show, the Grammy Award winner rocked the poolside stage at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami.
Elsewhere, Offset performed at the establishment’s popular night club LIV. The insider claims that while Cardi earned at least $1 million for her show, Offset allegedly made a “fraction” of that.
The source reportedly stated:
“She made at least double what Offset was paid.”
It’s also noted that the highest-priced tickets for Cardi’s act surged to about $25,000 each. On the other hand, Offset’s reportedly capped at around $15,000. It’s unclear whether or not the pay gap is unprecedented for the couple. The “Clout” artist has been releasing solo music since 2019 when he dropped his debut album “Father of 4.” At the time, however, he was still making music and performing with his Migos band members Quavo and Takeoff as well.
However, back in October of last year Offset officially announced that the group was disbanded following internal discrepancies. A few weeks later, Takeoff was tragically killed at an event in Houston, Texas, ensuring Migos would never perform together in the same way again. Since, Offset has been touring his latest project “Set It Off,” which was also released last year, as well as subsequent singles. It’s unclear if he’s suffered any type of monetary loss since leaving his former band.
As far as his relationship goes, Cardi and Offset have been at odds with one another since the former announced they’d broken up last month. The rapper took to social media to share that she’s been single “for a minute.” Though she never explicitly stated what caused the split, she did rant about leaving behind “dead weight” due to people being unable to grow in their mindset, right before she told everyone she was single. However, following their NYE performances the couple was spotted out partying, and Cardi later admitted to them having sexual relations after. She subsequently clarified that the two still aren’t officially back together.
