Update: Patrick Mahomes’s Brother’s Sexual Assault Charges Expected To Be Dropped As Alleged Victim Is No Longer Cooperating w/ Authorities
Update: (Jan. 3, 2024): Patrick Mahomes’s younger brother just dodged a huge bullet.
As you may recall, in February 2023 Jackson Mahomes was accused of sexual misconduct by a woman named Aspen Vaughn. At the time, Vaughn said that Jackson forcibly kissed her while visiting her Overland Park establishment. There’s also video footage that seemingly confirms her (original) story.

However, despite the footage, prosecutors recently revealed they plan on dropping three of the four charges Jackson is facing because the alleged victim is no longer cooperating. Reportedly, Vaughn told authorities that she wants “the matter to be dismissed as to anything involving” her.
In addition, she allegedly threatened she would claim “that she had not been truthful to the police and that the encounter with [Jackson] was consensual” if she wasn’t removed from the case.

A Judge is set to rule on the motion to dismiss the three aggravated sexual battery counts today (Jan. 3). If the charges are dropped then the 23-year-old influencer would be left with one misdemeanor battery charge, which stems from allegations he shoved a waiter the same night he allegedly assaulted Vaughn.

Original Story: (Mar 6, 2023 ): Jackson Mahomes, younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs player Patrick Mahomes, has been accused of sexual misconduct and physical assault.
Reportedly, influencer Jackson Mahomes is at the center of recent allegations from Aspen’s Restaurant and Lounge, in Overland Park, Kansas.

According to reports, the owner of the establishment — a 40-year-old woman named Aspen Vaughn — is claiming that Jackson Mahomes “forcibly kissed her” (seemingly) without her consent. The surveillance video of the occurrence allegedly captured 22-year-old Mahomes grabbing the business owner in (what appears to be) the kitchen area of the facility. Vaughn released a statement on the alleged incident and said:
“He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere and I’m telling him, pushing him off saying ‘what are you doing?’ and then he proceeded to do it two more times where the last time I was pushing him off and I can see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door and I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive.”
In addition to the said incident, which allegedly took place on Feb. 25 — prior to Mahomes’ interaction with Vaughn — the 22-year-old is suspected of shoving one of the restaurant’s waiters (a 19-year-old male). However, the cause of Mahomes’ run-in with the young man is currently unknown.
Following the matter, Mahomes’ attorney, Brandan Davies, released a statement. He said,
“Jackson has done nothing wrong. Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser including statements of several witnesses. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter.”

At this time, officials are reviewing and evaluating the footage/recordings surrounding the events.
Mahomes has yet to address the situation publicly.
