Megan Thee Stallion’s Ex-BFF Reveals How Things Allegedly Went Wrong In Tory Lanez Shooting: ‘That Night, It Was Like Destruction’

Breaking her silence.

For the first time since 2020, Kelsey Harris, Megan Thee Stallion’s ex-best friend and former assistant, is about to disclose why she feels betrayed by Megan and shocking allegations about the night she was shot in the foot. 

The Danza Project podcast posted a clip teasing an exclusive 2-hour interview with Kelsey Harris that releases this Sunday, March 3. In it, Kelsey Harris reveals what she did when she woke up the day Megan was shot by rapper Tory Lanez. She says,

“That morning, I woke up, and I had said a prayer, ‘If it’s something not for me, show me that.’ And that night, it was like destruction.”

She adds,

“You know you have to be prepared for what you asked for.”

In August 2023, a judge sentenced Canadian rapper Tory Lanez to 10 years in prison after he was found guilty of shooting Megan following a party at Kylie Jenner’s Hollywood Hills home in July 2020. In the podcast teaser, one of the hosts tells Harris about recent claims of alleged footage from the incident that could supposedly exonerate Tory Lanez. 

Harris replies, 

“I’m positive there was a video. There had to have been one. You’re in L.A. You’re in Hollywood.”

She also says, 

“When it comes to a point where alcohol takes over, and you become a different person. It’s time to let that sh*t go. Everybody’s life that night changed.”

Also, in the interview clip, Harris reveals that was also the same night she found out Megan allegedly betrayed her, adding

“Believe it or not, that was my last time ever seeing her.”

Before the teased clip ends, Harris could be seen bobbing her head and rapping along to Nicki Minaj’s seemingly diss song to Megan, ‘Big Foot.’

Reportedly, Harris and Megan’s friendship ended after the chart-topping artist was shot in the foot in 2020. Following the incident, Megan accused Harris of colluding with Tory Lanez and accepting bribe money to keep quiet about the details of the shooting.
