Songwriter Tiffany Red Reassures Fans She Will Not Take Her Life After Tearfully Revealing She’s ‘Fighting Suicidal Ideations’
Prayers up for Tiffany Red.
The Grammy Award-winning songwriter recently shared that she’s working through some heavy emotions while pursuing a fair pay lawsuit against Diddy and other music companies, but clarified that despite her alarming comments, she is not planning to attempt suicide.

In a message posted to her Instagram account, Tiffany Red wrote:
“For clarity, for those who are concerned after watching my IG Live, my having suicidal ideations does not mean I want to take my life. I very much want to live my life to the FULLEST! I work my a** off in therapy every Monday and have loads of love around me. I am good, I promise.”

She continued:
“I fight for the freedom to express myself fully; it was anger and tears today. I understand that the emotions I was feeling today are not permanent. I am not my feelings. I experience them and find a lot of healing in expressing them and not holding them in. I love my life. I hate how the music industry has impacted it, and I’m fighting for my justice. Love yall”
As she mentioned, Tiffany’s post comes as a response to some of her 45,000 followers expressing concern for her following remarks she made suggesting she might be suicidal. During a prior live stream, the 37-year-old became overrun with tears while explaining why she’s planning to sue Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, as well as production companies affiliated with him like Bad Boys Records and Interscope Records, over fair compensation. If you recall, Tiffany previously alleged that the music mogul refused to work with her music unless she participated in the “freak-off” sex parties that her friend CassieĀ successfully sued him over.

Discussing her own lawsuit against Diddy, Tiffany stated:
“Ya’ll ask me why I quit, y’all ask me why I don’t write songs anymore this is why. This sh*t has made me want to kill myself. I’m fighting suicidal ideations as we speak; because this is no way to live…I did not sign up for this sh*t…I don’t want to do the drugs, I don’t want to f*ck…that’s why I don’t got them [hit] records, cause I’m not willing to get f*cked.”

She added:
“So I quit, the thing I love…we don’t deserve this…there’s so many people getting hurt just trying to make music that do not deserve this..I’m suing for all the music I’ve written for Cassie that was derailed. I’m suing for my career that they took from me that I earned, that I worked for,”
In case you’re unfamiliar, Tiffany is not only a songwriter but also an activist fighting on behalf of other writers in the industry for fair pay. As we’ve previously reported, she’s called out several big-name celebrities such as Beyonce and Tamar Braxton, accusing them and a few others of taking writing credits without justly compensating the songwriters involved.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Tiffany as she continues to fight for her justice.
