The event is set to take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will air on Netflix.
Nakisa Bidarian, the co-founder of Jake Paul‘s talent agency, Most Valuable Promotions, teased what fans can expect and said in a statement,
“Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson is a once-in-a-lifetime dream matchup, and I will anticipate it will be the most-watched boxing event in modern boxing history.”

Jake Paul
Jake Paul’s company signed a deal with Netflix for a boxing card last November. His anticipated face-off with veteran Mike Tyson will serve as the platform’s first combat broadcast but third real-time, sports special overall.
You may have become acquainted with Paul after he defeated former NBA star Nate Robinson on the undercard of Tyson’s 2020 exhibition with Roy Jones Jr.
Tyson said of the upcoming fight with Paul:
“[Paul has] grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a kid can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT. It’s a full-circle moment that will be beyond thrilling to watch, as I started him on his boxing journey on the undercard of my fight with Roy Jones, and now I plan to finish him.”
Paul has a 9-1 record with 6 knockouts, while Tyson flaunts 50 total victories and 44 via knockout. He’s long been deemed “Iron Mike,” as he’s often referred to as one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time.
The former YouTuber gushed about the chance to take on Tyson in a social media post, writing,
“The biggest fight of the 21st century, in the biggest NFL stadium in the US, broadcast live, on the biggest streaming platform in the world…that’s the MVP way. Whether you’re tuning in on Netflix or showing out in person, whether you’re team Paul or team Tyson, or whether you’re a lifelong boxing fan or watching your first fight, you’re not going to want to miss this event.”
He added:
“My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion of the world, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. Time to put Iron Mike to sleep.”
