‘Love Is Blind’ Fans Want Amber ‘AD’ Smith To Be The Next Bachelorette After Ex-Fiancé Clay Gravesande Left Her At The Alter

Social media users are rallying behind Love Is Blind contestant Amber ‘AD’ Smith in her pursuit of finding love.

Many have been calling for ABC’s The Bachelorette to cast the reality star as their next leading lady after her ex-fiancé shockingly broke off their marriage plans in the season 6 finale of the Netflix series.

In case you’re unfamiliar, 33-year-old Amber ‘AD’ Smith became a fan favorite as she seemed to be one contestant genuinely searching for her happy ending. The experiment appeared to be going well for the real estate broker as she connected with co-star Clay Gravesande, 31, who asked for her hand in marriage, despite his reservations about long-term commitment.

The couple made it to their wedding day, which premiered on Wednesday (March 6), where Amber ‘AD’ Smith gleefully shared her “I Do” before Clay Gravesande decided he could not move forward with the union. The entrepreneur shared his love for Smith but claimed he needed time to work on himself, stating:

“This has been the best process. AD, I love you…I don’t think it’s responsible for me to say ‘I do.’ But I want you to know that I’m rockin’ with you.”

He added:

“We’ll go through this together. I don’t care what nobody says. I know fully I’m not ready for marriage,”

However, a teary-eyed Smith told cameras at the time that she couldn’t see the relationship continuing any further. She has since called her ex-lover a “walking red flag”, and her supporters seem to agree. Internet users have been slamming  Clay Gravesande, accusing him of wasting her time and are determined to help Smith find the one. Many have specifically been championing for her to be cast on The Bachelorette, where she could potentially meet several suitors to choose from.

At this time it does not appear that Smith nor ABC has not responded to the support behind her continued reality show stardom.
