Nicole Murphy Breaks Silence After Her Partner, Warren Braithwaite, Dies Of Cancer: ‘It’s So Hard Not Hearing Your Voice’
Nicole Murphy has publicly confirmed the loss of her mate.
Earlier this month, news circulated that Nicole Murphy’s partner, Warren Braithwaite, died after a battle with cancer.
Friends and family members of Warren Braithwaite flooded social media with the heartbreaking revelation.
Remembering him for his kind spirit, an individual wrote,
“Lost a good friend, a brother, [and] a childhood friend today. Imma miss u like a mothaf*cka!!! Imma miss the 2 hour phone calls laughing and talking sh*t with the money we made together over [the] years partying, the bottle wars in the club. [You] was a good dude. I don’t give a f*ck what nobody has to say about you!!! You was always a giving person. Never selfish or greedy!!! Sharing and caring was ur motto!!!! This one hurts so f*cking baddddd.”
They added, per Essence,
“@nikimurphy stay strong sis.”
Nicole Murphy has since spoken out in an emotional post on her Instagram Story.
Attaching a photo of the two, along with Beyoncé’s tear-jerking ballad, “Heaven,” she said:
“I miss you so much my love. Maybe you rest in peace my sweet.”
The actress/producer continued,
“It’s so hard not hearing your voice or seeing your face. You were my world & my everything.”
Rumors of Murphy and the construction company owner’s romance hit headlines last July when the 56-year-old shared flicks of the couple boo’d up together.
Additionally, Warren Braithwaite was spotted accompanying Murphy to her son, Myles’, wedding in September.
She bragged about their relationship in a previous post, where she stated:
“We both are not perfect, but we are perfect for each other my love.”
Before dating the late businessman, Murphy was married to iconic actor and comedian Eddie Murphy from 1993 to 2005. The former pair share five children: Bria, Miles, Shayne, Zola, and Bella.
After their divorce, she was also linked to ex-NFL star, Michael Strahan.
We send our deepest condolences out to Nicole Murphy during this tough time.
