Beyoncé Reveals The Name Of Her Highly-Anticipated Forthcoming Country Album

Superstar songstress Beyoncé’s album trends as fans react to the project’s name reveal.

Earlier today, the decorated singer announced that the album, set to be released on the 29th of this month, is titled “Cowboy Carter,” and it seems her fans are ready.

Beyoncé shared a pre-order promotion for the record to her Instagram story earlier today (Tuesday, March 12th). Simultaneously, several pieces of merchandise went live on the 44-year-old’s official website, including “Cowboy Carter” themed t-shirts, limited edition CD covers, and vinyl.

Reacting to the big reveal, many Beyoncé fans, known as the Beyhive, took to social media to express their excitement for the album and share their thoughts on the title. One user even dug up a little Texas history, speculating that the most Grammy Award-winning artist of all time is paying homage with the album’s name.

The forthcoming album will be the second of Beyoncé’s trilogy project, which kicked off with the release of her wildly successful “Renaissance” album in 2022. Thus far, Beyoncé has released two singles from the country record, “Texas Hold Em” and “16 Carriages,” which have been positively received for the most part. The former single earned the #1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100, making history as Beyoncé became the first Black woman to ever have a country song debut at the top of the chart.

Along with “Cowboy Carter,” the song “Jolene” has also been trending as fans get even more pumped that a rendition of Dolly Parton’s classic may appear on the album. As we recently reported, the country icon was asked her thoughts on rumors that Beyoncé recorded a version of her 1974 song for her upcoming album, to which Parton responded:

“Well, I think she has! I think she’s recorded ‘Jolene’ and I think it’s probably gonna be on her country album, which I’m very excited about that.”
