Update (March 12): Porsha Williams may be going through a divorce but she still has a sense of humor and seems to have let her younger sister try on her wedding ring amid her split from Simon Guobadia. 

Early Tuesday morning (March 12) the Real Housewives of Atlanta star shared a video via her Instagram Story of her and her sister, Lauren, enjoying a night out. In the brief clip, Lauren flashed her hand, showing off a huge diamond on her ring finger. She couldn’t stop laughing as Porsha Williams is heard saying of the bling,

“Oh, it’s flash?”

Original Story (March 11): Porsha Williams appeared to be still sporting her wedding ring after she filed for divorce from her husband, Simon Goubadia.

The reality TV star posted a video on her Instagram today (March 11) that featured herself being dolled up by her glam team. As she helped her hairstylist adjust her hair, fans spotted a wedding ring that appeared on Porsha Williams’ ring finger and pointed it out in the comments.

One Instagram user wrote,

“I saw the ring!”

Another person insinuated that Porsha’s seemingly wearing the wedding ring on her ring finger meant the divorce was fake. 

They declared,

“I see she got her wedding ring back on. This whole situation is a hoax.”

Porsha Williams also posted a cryptic message on her Instagram Stories earlier today. The post, which was quickly deleted, said,

“If You keep telling Your LIES… I will start speaking my TRUTH!”

No word on who she was referring to, but there’s a strong chance the message was aimed at her estranged hubby Simon Goubadia. Last month Porsha filed for divorce from Simon Goubadia, after being married to the Nigerian businessman for just over a year.

According to reports, she met Simon Goubadia while filming RHOA Season 13 in 2020. At that time, he was married to series “friend” Falynn Goubadia, but they divorced in April 2021.

Porsha and Simon’s divorce filing news came after the “Porsha’s Family Matters” star announced she would return to “RHOA” after stepping away in 2021. NBCUniversal confirmed she would regain her peach for Season 16, adding she and the company had signed an overall deal that included “scripted project opportunities.”

In a statement, Porsha recently said,

“I’m incredibly thankful for the vision and faith NBCUniversal has put in me to be a larger part of their family. I’m looking forward to being back on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and showing the world my new world!”
