Simon Guobadia’s New Rumored Girlfriend, Jenelle Salazar Butler, Once Sued Miami Surgeon For Botching Silicone Butt Injections Removal, Leaving Her ‘Completely Disfigured’

More is coming out about the woman rumored to be dating Simon Guobadia.

Jenelle Salazar Butler is a fitness influencer who goes by Get Bodied By J, and has nearly 700,000 followers on Instagram. She’s also the CEO of premium athleisure company Bodied Athletics.

Years before being linked to Simon Guobadia (who is currently married to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha WilliamsJenelle Salazar Butler shared her story of undergoing a life-threatening surgery when getting her controversial and illegal butt injections removed. She appeared on national shows like Doctors and The Wendy Williams Show. She even sued a Miami plastic surgeon who she said “completely disfigured” her when removing the silicone.

According to the lawsuit filed in 2020, the fitness influencer alleged Constantino Mendieta, a Miami surgeon, botched her implant removal procedure. She claimed he cut crucial blood vessels, which caused her to lose “excessive amounts of blood.” Following the surgery, she was reportedly hospitalized and had to receive a transfusion of three units of blood.

Butler also shared that she developed necrosis, the blackening of the skin, which causes cells to die. Ultimately, the fitness guru said it left her with fist-size holes in each of her butt cheeks.

During an interview with a local Atlanta news outlet, CBS46, she stated, per Daily Mail,

“I am completely disfigured. I have to wear butt lifters and butt pads.”

In her lawsuit, Butler also described how the post-removal process impacted her daily life. Because of the “large open wounds” on her backside following the surgery, she shared she could not drive a car, bathe properly, sit on the toilet, or even pick up her children.

Also mentioned in the complaint, the personal trainer had to undergo three reconstructive surgeries because of the alleged botched procedure.

Constantino Mendieta denied Jenelle Salazar Butler’s accusations in a response to her lawsuit, calling it “rife with inaccuracies.”

The surgeon argued,

“I will vigorously defend myself and the reputation that I have carefully built over 30 years as a board-certified plastic surgeon. I do not plan to make any further comment about the pending litigation.”

During an appearance on The Doctors in 2017, Butler recalled entering a hotel room to get illegal butt injections. At that time, she paid $2,000 to get nine shots of silicone injected into her butt to help her quickly create a more shapely behind.

She has since made it her mission to warn people of the dangers of silicone butt injections. During an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show in 2018, Butler further detailed having the injections removed, describing how it left her impaired,

“The way that I was cut, it went down the middle under the cheeks, and he opened me up like a book. So [he] scoop[ed] the silicone out, but he also took a lot of fat and tissue that I really needed, that was my natural stuff. So it left me really messed up and then I had infections, I had necrosis, and they had to dig out more dead tissue.”

Fast-forward to today (March 13), Butler is a well-known advocate for fitness on social media, with hundreds of thousands of followers on Instagram. She’s also said to be dating Simon Guobadia amid his divorce from Porsha Williams.
