Ariana Grande & Dalton Gomez Divorce Finalized 6 Months After She Filed, Singer Agrees To Pay Ex-Husband $1.25 Million Lump Sum
Update (March 19, 2024): Ariana Grande’s divorce is complete. The two-time Grammy winner and her now ex-husband Dalton Gomez reached a settlement agreement and the judge signed off on it this week, per TMZ.
Since they were married for less than three years and didn’t share any children, their split was pretty straightforward. Ariana Grande will give Dalton Gomez $1.25 million via a lump sum. They will also share the profit made from selling their Los Angeles home, and Ariana Grande will pay Dalton Gomez $25,000 for attorneys’ fees.
Original Story (Sept. 18, 2023): Another famed couple has called it quits.
According to reports, Ariana Grande has officially filed for divorce from Dalton Gomez after two years of marriage. The singer allegedly cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their breakup. It’s reported that moments after Ariana Grande filed her petition today (Sept. 18) in Los Angeles, her soon-to-be-ex submitted his own divorce documents. Hollywood divorces can turn ugly really fast, however, it looks like that won’t be the case for the “Thank U, Next” artist and Dalton Gomez.

Allegedly, they already had the terms of their separation in order before either of them went to the courthouse. Because of this, their divorce process is expected to go smoothly. In addition, Ariana has allegedly agreed to hand over a nice check to Dalton to ensure everything is painless. It’s also been reported that they had a prenup in place, however, the terms of the agreement haven’t been released.
An insider shared with TMZ,
“they’ve been really caring and respectful of one another every step of this process.”
Despite the abruptness of the divorce news, confirmation that things are over for the pair may come as no shock. As previously reported, in July Ariana Grande was spotted without her wedding ring. Soon after, rumors surfaced that she was dating her “Wicked” costar, Ethan Slater, who was also married at the time.
Ethan Slater has since filed for divorce from his wife, Lilly Jay. They married in 2018 and share one child together. Lilly Jay hasn’t said much on the matter. However, she did previously request privacy to deal with the situation and allegedly said Ariana is “not a girl’s girl.”
She reportedly added,
“My family is just collateral damage.”
