Update (March 21, 2024): Christine Quinn’s husband has been taken into custody again.
Christian Richard was arrested on Wednesday, his second arrest in 33 hours. Per his booking record obtained by Page Six, he was detained and charged for a misdemeanor after returning to the home he and Christine Quinn share amid a restraining order against him. He was released on Thursday morning and is scheduled to appear in court on April 11.
Christian Richard allegedly arrived at the home after he was released from jail following for a domestic incident.
Original Story (March 20, 2024): Ex-Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn’s husband is in serious trouble with the law.
Police arrested businessman Christian Richard on Tuesday (March 19) following an alleged domestic violence incident. The arrest comes after he allegedly threw a bag containing a glass bottle at Christine Quinn that instead hit their toddler son. According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s records, Christian Richard is facing an assault with a deadly weapon charge, and his bail is $30,000.
An LAPD spokesperson reportedly claimed he,
“threw a bag which contained a glass bottle inside of it. He threw it at the victim, but missed the victim and struck a child that was in the proximity,”
Their young son was reportedly transported to the hospital following the incident with the luxury real estate agent by his side.
According to multiple reports, the “How to Be a Boss B*tch” author and Richard met through a mutual friend. The couple then tied the knot in December 2019, within a year of meeting each other.
Their extravagant wedding was documented in the Netflix hit series “Selling Sunset,” showcasing their winter wonderland meets gothic-themed event. The ceremony featured black swans, a blood-covered wedding cake, and snow.
The pair also share a toddler son, Christian Georges Dumontet. After settling into motherhood in 2021, Christine Quinn told People Magazine during an interview,
“I think the best part of motherhood is just being responsible for this little bundle of joy that’s half you and half your partner — and it’s been so nice to watch my husband change and evolve; he’s just so obsessed with little Baby C.”
She added,
“I feel like I have my mama bear now.”
Regarding his background, 45-year-old Richard is now a retired tech entrepreneur following his career in software engineering. According to reports, he helped create one of the first online food delivery companies, Foodler. He sold the company to competitor GrubHub in 2017 and was able to retire at the age of 38.
