50 Cent Seemingly Regrets Shooting His Shot At Vivica A. Fox During 2003 BET Awards
Just in case it wasn’t clear… 50 Cent and Vivica A. Fox’s romance is never coming back!
Over the weekend, the rapper-turned-media-mogul shared a throwback video of the moment he let the world know he had his eyes on Vivica A. Fox. During the 2003 BET Awards, 50 Cent took the stage to accept the award for Best New Artist, toward the end of his viral speech, he said,
“I’m just happy to be present with all of these beautiful people in here… I want to thank Vivica Fox for wearing that dress too.”
The camera then showed a stunned Vivica A. Fox sitting in the audience as the crowd erupted into cheers. However, 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson seemingly regrets the romantic gesture. On Sunday (Mar. 25), he shared a video of his acceptance speech and captioned the post,
“I look back [eye emoji] at some of the sh*t that I did [eyebrow raised emoji] I gotta learn to shut the f*ck up. Look at that look at end that’s trouble.”

Reportedly, following the award show, 50 and Vivica A. Fox had a brief relationship. Since their split, the pair have exchanged a few jabs at each other over the years. Despite their purported ongoing feud, Vivica has expressed more than once the love she still has for her ex. Most recently, during a 2023 interview with Sherri Shepherd, Vivica was asked if she’d be open to rekindling things with the “In Da Club” artist. She replied,
“Ben [Affleck] and Jen [Jennifer Lopez] did it, why not?”
She continued,
“I’m looking for a partner… someone that’s fun, got their own identity… their own money. I’m not trying to be a sugar mama.”
