Update: Marcus Jordan Shares Cryptic Message After Larsa Pippen Spoke About Their Split: ‘Why Give Shorty A Heart, When She Rather Have Press’

Update #5 (March 27, 2024): Marcus Jordan has entered the chat. The former boyfriend of Larsa Pippen appears to be sharing his piece after she addressed their breakup.

In a message posted via a since-deleted Instagram Story, he seemed to use Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Tyga’s 2014 hit “Loyal.” He began,

“I wasn’t born last night. Rewriting history for clout is not cute.”

He added,

“Funny how ppl change, just to be part of a conversation that’s irrelevant. Why give shorty a heart, when she rather have press. Ooooohhh thats [sic] nerve.”

Update #4 (March 26, 2024): Larsa Pippen is shedding light on why she and Marcus Jordan have broken up again.

The Real Housewives of Miami star spoke about the split on Tuesday’s Amy & T.J. podcast and first told the hosts,

“I am single, ready to mingle.”

She later walked it back and said she’s not trying to date anyone right now, but will be ready “soon.” Larsa Pippen noted that their 16-year difference wasn’t a factor and said instead,

“I just think we’re on a different journey, you know? I feel like I have to be true to who I am, what I’m doing and what he’s doing, you know? I want him to be happy. He’s a great guy, but I just don’t feel like it’s for me.”

She quipped that she dated men who were older than Marcus Jordan, but not nearly as mature as him. She reiterated,

“I don’t think it’s the age. I just think it’s where we are right now.”

Larsa Pippen added that she spent time away from her now ex-boyfriend to film a TV show for two weeks, and the distance gave her “clarity” on their relationship.

“I think when you’re alone, you kind of either miss the person or realize maybe you’re not my guy, and I feel like that made me realize that I don’t think he’s my guy.

Added Larsa:

“My number one priority is my kids, my businesses, my show and being with someone I can grow with. If I’m not growing with you, we kind of have to be at the same place in order to grow together. So, that’s kind of what I want.”

Although she’s feeling “good” after the split, she couldn’t ignore that the breakup has been difficult.

“It’s hard to break up because you’re so used to living with the person. We had our podcast together, we worked together, I had him on ‘Housewives,’ and that was hard because we were used to being together all the time. And when I went and shot this other show, I just realized that, Larsa, you’re OK, you’re fine.”

Larsa added that she and Marcus Jordan are still on good terms.

“We’re friends. We were friends for three years before we started dating. I feel like we’re going to be friends eventually. Right now, I feel like, you know, we’re cool.”

Update #3 (March 20, 2024): Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan have called it quits again. And this time it’s reportedly for good. The alleged exes reportedly broke up about two weeks ago and haven’t spoken to one another since, TMZ reports.

The two have also unfollowed each other on social again.

Update #2 (Feb. 15, 2024): It looks like Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen are putting those split rumors to rest. The pair, who reportedly broke up earlier this week after unfollowing each other on Instagram, have re-followed one another once again.

The two were also spotted hanging out at Trias Flowers & Gift in Miami on Valentine’s Day Wednesday (Feb. 14). Bystanders said they left with a large vase and nearly two dozen roses. They were then seen going to Larsa Pippen’s home together.

From the looks of it, all photos of each other have still been removed from their Instagram profiles.

Update: (Feb 12, 2024): There was some truth to the breakup rumors surrounding Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan.

PEOPLE has confirmed that the former love birds are no longer together. As of now, no word on who broke up with whom or why things ended. However, Larsa Pippen has already started posting subliminal messages about the split online. One of her already-removed posts from her Instagram Stories said,

“The man you choose to be your partner affects everything in your life. Your mental health, your peace of mind, your love inside you, your happiness, how you get through tragedies, your successes, how your children will be raised and much more. Choose wisely.”

Original Story: (Feb 12, 2024): It looks like Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan may have split.

The duo has unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Larsa Pippen is one of the stars of the reality TV show ‘Real Housewives of Miami.’ Marcus Jordan is the second child of retired Hall of Fame basketball player Michael Jordan.

Before the rumored split, Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan initially sparked dating rumors in September 2022 but denied being more than friends. However, by January 2023, they confirmed their relationship. In addition to unfollowing each other, Pippen and Jordan have also removed all pictures of each other from their Instagram profiles.

The Bravo star also posted a poll on her Instagram story on Sunday, Feb. 11 and asked,

“Should your friends unfollow your ex?” 

Larsa and Marcus’ apparent split comes after she revealed she’d happily change her last name to Jordan if they got married. During the season 5 reunion of ‘Real Housewives of Miami,’ Pippen said,

“I would change my last name for whomever I married, that’s for sure.”

Last year, Michael Jordan was asked if he approved of his son, Marcus, and Larsa’s relationship; he laughed and said,

“No.”

Following the remark, Larsa said she was “embarrassed” and “traumatized” by it. In response, Marcus told her that his father was joking.

He reassured her on their joint podcast, “Separation Anxiety, 

“I know my dad, and obviously my whole family, we’re so competitive, part of our DNA is to talk sh**t; it gets us going and gets us motivated. And when I saw it, immediately I thought, ‘He’s playing. He’s joking; he’s laughing. He’s just being playful; he’s a little lit, maybe off the Socorro [tequila],’.

You may recall Larsa Pippen’s ex-husband was Scottie Pippen, and they were married for nearly 20 years.
