Tyler, The Creator, Allegedly Once Called Comedian Jerrod Carmichael A “Stupid B*tch” After Comedian Confessed He Had Feelings For Him

Comedian Jerrod Carmichael was once brutally rejected by a famous rapper.

In the premiere episode of “Jerrod Carmichael Reality Show,” the comedian detailed the encounter. Jerrod Carmichael said that in 2021, he confessed through text to Tyler, the Creator, that he had romantic feelings for him.

However, Tyler didn’t seem to feel the same way. Evidently, the “New Magic Wand” rapper responded to the text message with a voice note calling Jerrod Carmichael a “stupid b*tch” and laughed.

During the sit-down conversation on the self-titled show, Carmichael called the response “totally unrequited” and “embarrassing.”

Nonetheless, Tyler’s rejection didn’t stop Carmichael from shooting his shot again. The 36-year-old asked the fashion designer to be his date for the 2022 Emmy Awards, but Tyler again denied him a couple of days before the awards ceremony. Therefore, Carmichael took a friend, identified as “anonymous,” and was shown wearing a ski mask and goggles.

Near the end of the episode, the record producer explained that Carmichael’s feelings were ” a lot to download.” He explained that he didn’t know how to respond to Carmichael’s feelings then and still doesn’t.

“Getting news like that and then avoiding it is a way to avoid change. I didn’t think brushing that off and continuing regularly would be such a dent. I don’t know.”

Tyler added that Carmichael is “like a brother” to him, seemingly putting him in the friend zone.

“That man’s like family.”

Despite not having mutual romantic feelings, Tyler and Carmichael remained friends. They also previously worked together in 2019 when the comedian was the narrator of Tyler’s 2019 album Igor. They also collaborated for a conversation for the rapper’s 2017 album “Flower Boy.”
