Michael Jackson’s Estate Against Singer’s Sexual Assault Accusers Accessing His Criminal File, Document Reportedly Includes Images Of His Genitals

Lawyers representing the estate of pop superstar Michael Jackson don’t want his naked pictures circulating online.

Reportedly, the legal professionals recently motioned the court to block access to his criminal file, arguing it includes “sensitive” content irrelevant to the current lawsuit they’re fighting.

As we’ve recently been covering, Michael Jackson’s estate has been in an embattled lawsuit with two individuals, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who accused the singer of repeatedly molesting them as children. The plaintiffs reportedly filed a court motion recently seeking access to his 1993 molestation investigation file, seemingly in hopes of coming upon evidence to support their complaint. Robson and Safechuck are suing Jackson’s corporations, claiming the musician’s staffers are largely responsible for their alleged ongoing abuse. Their story is chronicled in detail in the 2019 documentary Leaving Neverland.

Before a judge could decide on whether or not to grant them access to the file, however, Jackson’s estate motioned to have the request denied. They reportedly argued that the file does not hold any information relevant to their complaint and was already rejected by a previous court judge, writing:

“Plaintiffs’ attempt to obtain this sensitive, private, and irrelevant information over this Court’s prior order to quash is particularly egregious.”

Wade Robson, James Safechuck

The report notes that Wade previously attempted to access the file when he first sued Jackson’s estate in 2017. As mentioned, the request was ultimately denied before the case was thrown out entirely. Due to a recently passed California law, however, the two were able to, once again, seek legal vengeance for the abuse they claim to have endured, and combined their lawsuits in hopes of a successful verdict on their part.

Jackson’s estate attorneys reportedly did not outright confirm that the file includes pictures of the Grammy Winner’s naked body and genitalia. However, it has been surmised that they suspect Robson and Safechuck only want access to the file in hopes of finding intimate photos of the singer and selling them online. A judge has reportedly not decided on the matter at this time.
