EXCLUSIVE: Celeb Hair Stylist Tokyo Stylez Lands Reality Show On WeTV
Tokyo Stylez is ready to give fans a closer look at her life.
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports that the celebrity wig stylist, who is transgender and goes by she/her pronouns, has landed her own reality show on WeTV. Details are scarce for now, but we know the series is allegedly on the way.
Tokyo Stylez is no stranger to the small screen. She has appeared in hit reality shows like Kylie Jenner’s Life of Kylie. She also had her own Snapchat Original mini-series, Queen of Stylez, where celebrity clients like Cardi B, Latto, Paris Hilton, Kash Doll, and Karrueche Tran made cameos.
She has also styled wigs for stars Kim Kardashian, Nicki Minaj, and Naomi Campbell.
In 2019, Tokyo Stylez, who goes by Mia Jackson, told fans about her journey to transition into a woman. She also documented her experience undergoing breast augmentation, according to Madame Noire.
She opened up about her decision to share her transition with fans and told Gay Times in 2020,
“I just felt that it was time to stop hiding who I am, because I’ve been doing that for most of my life. If I wasn’t being true to myself, then how would I help anybody else who might be going through the same thing? Being unapologetic has always been my attitude, so why change that during my transition to the woman I always was?”

The Ohama, Neb. native continued,
“I think being open about it, unlike others that have elected to hide it, has made my transition so much better. I thought people might look at me differently, but I have gotten nothing but love and support from the world.”
