Update: Drake Dropped From Astroworld Festival Class Action Lawsuit
Update: (Apr. 11, 2024): Canadian rapper Drake has one less problem to worry about.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a judge recently dropped him from the Astroworld class action lawsuit. As previously reported, in 2021, he made a surprise appearance at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival. At some point during the event, things unfortunately turned tragic when a crowd crush ultimately left ten dead and hundreds of others injured. Reportedly, Drake was named in lawsuits as many argued his appearance played a hand in the chaos from the crowd.
However, Drake’s legal team claimed he shouldn’t be held responsible for the attendees’ safety and a judge has agreed, finally dismissing all the claims against him with prejudice.

I will continue to pray for all of them, and will be of service in any way I can, May God be with you all.”
