Yaya Mayweather Seemingly Wants To Rekindle Romance w/ Her Child’s Father NBA Youngboy, Despite Him Being Married + Social Media Reacts: ‘I NEVER Wannabe This Delusional’

Social media star Yaya Mayweather made a recent comment about her ex that has some social media users in a frenzy.

The daughter of celebrity boxer Floyd Mayweather recently suggested she’s trying to get her son’s father NBA Youngboy back, which many deem problematic as he’s a married man.

Iyanna ‘Yaya’ Mayweather, 23, uploaded a post recently where she made the remark. Dancing in a Tik Tok video with several women eventually joining her, she wrote as a caption:

“My homegirls trying to help me get my bd back because they helped me lose him,”

At this time, it remains unclear how serious Yaya Mayweather was being about the situation, but the insinuation was enough to get the internet going. Social media users began blasting the celebrity, arguing that not only is her only child’s father NBA Youngboy in a committed relationship, but highlighted the face that their romance was also riddled with alarming instances of violence. If you recall, Yaya stood trial and faced prison time for stabbing the mother of one of NBA Youngboy’s other children.

Though she was ultimately let off with six years probation, the situation shed light to serious concerns over the pairs relationship. Additionally, NBA Youngboy, real name Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, 24, is also now married to Jazlyn Mychelle, who he shares two of his eleven children with. As we previously reported, the couple tied the knot back in January of 2023 following 2 years of dating.

Reacting to Yaya’s recent declaration about re-sparking things with Youngboy, social media users across the board seem to be advising her against it, with some arguing that his marriage is enough to not even joke about the situation.
