‘Euphoria’ Star Sydney Sweeney’s Rep Slams Top Hollywood Producer For Saying Actress Is ‘Not Pretty’ & ‘Can’t Act’: ‘That’s Shameful’

The team for actress Sydney Sweeney is standing ten toes down behind the rising star.

Recently, Hollywood producer Carol Baum shared her true feelings toward “Euphoria” Star Sydney Sweeney, 26, while chatting at a panel discussion. Carol Baum, who has produced 34 films including “Father of the Bride” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” reportedly said,

“There’s an actress who everybody loves now — Sydney Sweeney. I don’t get Sydney Sweeney. I was watching on the plane Sydney Sweeney’s movie [‘Anyone But You’] because I wanted to watch it. I wanted to know who she is and why everybody’s talking about her.”

According to Carol Baum, Sydney Sweeney’s 2023 comedy “Anyone But You” is “unwatchable” and she had to ask her class at the USC School of Cinematic Arts why people find Sweeney attractive.

Baum purportedly recalled,

“I said to my class, ‘Explain this girl to me. She’s not pretty, she can’t act. Why is she so hot?’” 

She added:

“Nobody had an answer, but then the question was asked, ‘Well, if you could get your movie made because she was in it, would you do it?’ I said, ‘Well, that’s a really good question…that’s a very hard question to answer because we all want to get the movie made, and who walks away from a green light? Nobody I know. Your job is to get the movie made.'”

Well, Sweeney seemingly heard what Baum said about her and the likelihood of them working together is slim. A rep for the celeb said,

“How sad that a woman in the position to share her expertise and experience chooses instead to attack another woman.”

They added,

“If that’s what she’s learned in her decades in the industry and feels is appropriate to teach to her students, that’s shameful.”
