Update: Kanye’s Battery Investigation For Punching Man Who Allegedly Assaulted His Wife Coming To An End As No One Is Cooperating w/ Police

Update: (Apr. 29, 2024): As the old saying goes…”Snitches get stitches.”

Last week news broke that Kanye West was under investigation for battery after he reportedly punched one of the Houston Brother twins while at the Chateau Marmont. It’s rumored that the rapper struck either Mark or Jonnie for (allegedly) sexually harassing his wife Bianca Censori. However, conflicting reports claimed the punch came after one of the men simply bumped into Bianca.

Whatever the reason for the dispute, it seems the involved parties have decided to work things out and no longer speak with authorities. Law enforcement sources shared with TMZ that the investigation is coming to an end as the alleged victim has stopped communicating with police. Instead, it’s believed they’re now in talks with Kanye purportedly to find a common ground.

Since no one is talking, the case will reportedly be sent over to the L.A. City Attorney’s Office where a final decision will be made.

Original Story: (Apr. 18, 2024): Fans of rap star Kanye West are coming to his defense amid reports that he’s facing battery charges.

Social media users have been sharing their approval of the musician’s actions after it was reported that he allegedly punched a man for sexually harassing his wife Bianca Censori.

Reports that Kanye West was named as a suspect in an open battery investigation began surfacing yesterday (Wednesday, April 17th). According to reports, a man filed the complaint against the “Donda” artist late Tuesday evening, alleging that Kanye West struck him in the face. However, it was also reported that the victim allegedly pushed or grabbed the musician’s wife, Bianca Censori.

West’s Chief of Staff Milo Yiannopoulos has since commented on the matter, claiming that Bianca Censori was sexually assaulted. He wrote in a statement:

“A stranger grabbed Bianca’ is grossly inadequate as a description of what happened. Bianca was physically assaulted…The assailant didn’t merely collide into her. He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, he grabbed her waist, he spun her around, and then he blew her kisses. She was battered and sexually assaulted.”

At this time it’s unclear whether or not any charges will actually be drawn against West for the alleged battery, though social media users clearly don’t think they should be. Many have been reacting to the report, championing the rapper for fighting on behalf of his wife and arguing that he should be seen as a victim in this situation, not a suspect.

We will continue to update as the story moves forward.
