Vivica A. Fox Says Clone Rumors Surrounding Longtime Friend Jamie Foxx Over His Mysterious Health Scare Are Ridiculous

Will the real Jamie Foxx please stand up?

The “Dreamgirls” actor seems to be doing a lot better than he was a year ago. As previously reported, in April 2023, Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne shared that he had been hospitalized due to an unspecified medical emergency. To date, nothing more has really been revealed on the matter from Jamie Foxx. However, the Texas native has thankfully recovered and returned to work, picking up the projects that were paused amid his health scare.

Of course, like any tight-lipped matter in Hollywood, the lack of information from the source only added to the rumor mill. One theory was that Jamie was cloned, but his longtime friend Vivica A. Fox found those allegations to be laughable.

During a recent press stop promoting her upcoming film “Not Another Church Movie,” which also stars Jamie, Vivica A. Fox addressed the whispers that her pal was cloned. Speaking on the people who did a deep dive into Jamie when he returned to the spotlight, she said,

“They were even checking for tattoos on the back of his head. It makes you laugh. I mean, that’s all you can do really, is laugh at the ridiculousness of it, that Jamie Fox got cloned and came back.”

She jokingly continued,

“But, you know, Jamie would be down for it ’cause he’d have his clone working, he would.  I mean, he has so many jobs, the guy works constantly.”

When asked about how Jamie is currently doing, she shared,

“From what I know, fantastic. You know Jamie is such a gift, he’s so talented and it’s crazy that this is the second comedy that we’ve done together, we did ‘Booty Call’ years ago and now here we are doing this.”

And added,

“Jamie has so many more gifts to give and from what we can see, he’s healthy and happy.”
