Drake Accused Of Trolling DJ Mustard After Following His Estranged Wife Chanel Online

Looks like Drake may be attempting to get under DJ Mustard’s skin.

Internet users believe the Canada native is trolling the beat-maker after noticing Drake recently followed DJ Mustard’s former spouse Chanel Thierry online.

Social media users reportedly made the discovery this past Thursday (June 27th), shortly after video footage placed DJ Mustard at the video shoot for Kendrick Lamar’s scathing Drake diss “Not Like Us.” In case you’re unfamiliar, the Billboard #1 – released at the height of Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s historic rap beef earlier this year – was a collaboration between the California natives with DJ Mustard being the mastermind producer behind the hit record.

In what many surmise to be a revenge-motivated move, social media users confirmed that Drake has since followed DJ Mustard’s ex Chanel Thierry on Instagram. If you recall, Mustard and Thierry famously split following a year of marriage back in 2022, despite their 3 children and 11 years of dating.

A report also noted that Thierry gave Drake a follow-back, though the true nature of their interaction is unclear at this time. While all parties involved have been quiet on the matter, social media users seem inclined to believe that Drake is slowly beginning his revenge plan on all those involved in his squabble with Lamar starting with Mustard; and commenters seem pretty split on how they feel about the situation.

According to Mustard, however, he has by no means been attempting to take shots at Drake. After being asked about wearing a Toronto hat during Lamar’s Juneteenth concert, Mustard vehemently denied intentionally taking a jab at the “Hotline Bling” artist, stating:

“I wasn’t trolling. I really wasn’t trolling…I bought a lot of hats that I like. I bought an STL hat, an Angels hat, a Braves hat. I put Faith of a Mustard Seed [the title of his new album] on all of them,”

He added:

“I sweated out two of my hats at Pop Out [Kendrick Lamar’s Inglewood concert] and that was the last hat that I had with Faith of a Mustard Seed on it. It just happened to be a Toronto Blue Jays hat.”
