Chris Brown and Yella Beezy Sued For $15 Million, Security Guard Says He Suffered Cracked Vertebrae In ‘Prison Yard Beat Down’ After Concert
Chris Brown and Yella Beezy are facing another lawsuit, this time for $15 million.
The new legal action, filed on Wednesday (July 24), comes from Frederick R. Overpeck, a security guard who claims he was severely injured while trying to break up a fight at Chris Brown’s concert.

According to Frederick Overpeck’s lawsuit, the incident occurred on July 20th at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, where he was assigned to oversee the backstage meet-and-greet.

Frederick Overpeck’s lawsuit supports the previous claim from four men who allege they were attacked after being invited to Chris Brown’s VIP experience. The plaintiffs, Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush, and Da Marcus Powell, had alleged that violence erupted when Chris Brown’s entourage recognized them as former rivals.
He alleges that Chris Brown told his people to “f*** them up” before what he described as a “prison yard beat down” took place.
The initial suit alleges that Brown, rapper Yella Beezy, and crew were involved in a brutal assault, with one man being attacked by a “300-lb henchman” and Overpeck receiving injuries after stepping in.

Overpeck, who describes himself as a 58-year-old father with two jobs, states he was unaware of Chris Brown’s identity but was injured when Brown and Yella Beezy’s team allegedly attacked him, resulting in cracked vertebrae and a severely injured hip.

His attorney, Anthony Buzbee, is seeking no less than $15 million in damages.
The original lawsuit, also filed byBuzbee, demands $50 million in damages and alleges severe injuries and ongoing medical treatments for the plaintiffs stemming from the same incident.
