Jennifer “J.Lo” Lopez is currently dealing with a little bit of criticism for telling paparazzi to back off. The Atlas actress was recently spotted in the Hamptons coming out of an ice cream shop with a friend and her children. Upon their exit, they were met by paparazzi, who proceeded to take pictures of Jennifer Lopez and her loved ones. However, the celeb wasted no time going into mama bear mode, going off on the street photographers. In footage captured and shared on TikTok by a bystander, she sternly says,

“Get away from me and the kids.”

As her friend walks toward the photographers, Jennifer Lopez adds,

“Go away, go away.”

As you may already know, J.Lo shares fraternal twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony. Despite her anger with the paparazzi appearing to be over the safety of her children, some still criticized J.Lo for yelling. Referencing ongoing rumors that J.Lo isn’t the kindest celebrity, one person sarcastically wrote in the video’s comment section,

“Another lovely encounter with JLo [laughing emoji]”

Another critic added,

“J Lo is so rude to people has she forgotten that the fans made her she’s disgustingly rude”

J.Lo isn’t the only famous person to have a heated exchange with paparazzi. Also on the list is rapper/designer Kanye West. He often makes headlines for going off on paps and even filed a police report against one photographer weeks after snatching and throwing the woman’s phone.
