Tupac’s Family Hires Investigators Over Claim Diddy Paid $1 Million For Rapper’s Death, Plans Legal Action If Evidence Is Found
The family of the late rapper Tupac “2Pac” Shakur is gearing up to take legal action against Diddy.
As previously reported, Keefe D, who’s currently charged with orchestrating Tupac’s death, claimed that Sean “Diddy” Combs offered him $1 million for the infamous murder. The serious allegation was recently brought to the forefront (again) when prosecutors in the murder case included an old transcript from an interview Keefe D did in 2009. It was also reported that Keefe D, real name Duane Davis, has been a “confidential police informant” for years.
Reportedly, authorities didn’t take Keefe D’s claim seriously as, to date, there has been no concrete evidence linking Diddy to Tupac’s death. However, the family of the “Changes” rapper has started to take the appropriate steps just in case evidence does surface. According to a report from TMZ, Tupac’s loved ones hired attorneys Alex Spiro and Christopher Clore and investigators to dig into what Keefe D said. For those unaware, Alex Spiro has a history of working on cold cases.
Insiders shared with the publication that the private investigation will focus on Diddy and the team is confident they’ll find potential evidence. Any material that connects the music mogul to the crime will be given to authorities to be looked into for possible criminal charges.
However, if nothing surfaces that can be used to implicate Diddy criminally then Tupac’s family might file a wrongful death suit, should strong enough evidence come to light.
