‘Euphoria’ Star Hunter Schafer Becomes Emotional As She Speaks On Angus Cloud’s Death & Possibility Of Season 3
Another Euphoria star is speaking out on the likelihood of season 3.
It’s no secret that fans of the HBO series have been anxiously waiting for new episodes since season 2 concluded in February 2022. While there has yet to be a concrete answer for the delay in the series’ return, the 2023 Hollywood strikes, the busy schedules of the main cast, and problems surrounding the show’s creator/writer Sam Levinson all reportedly played a hand in the postponement.
On top of that, last year the cast and crew had to deal with the unexpected deaths of executive producer Kevin Turen and Angus Cloud, who played Fezco O’Neill.

During a newly aired podcast interview, actress Hunter Schafer (Jules Vaughn) addressed the possibility of season 3 actually happening and how the deaths of members of the Euphoria family have affected everyone.
“The real tea is, I have no f*cking idea what’s going on. And you can ask literally all of the cast … a lot has happened. …We have had, and it’s hard to talk about, but we’ve had deaths.”
Becoming emotional, Hunter Schafer continued,
“I think everyone feels a certain sense of…anticipation for if we are supposed to do this season three. I’m still coming to qualms with what’s happened and losing people that we really loved, and we’re a part of this family and everything.”

She added,
“And I think if we do go back, it’s, that’s gonna be tough. I mean, and I think there’s a world in which we can channel that into making it a beautiful season three, if it is supposed to happen. But I think that sh*t really threw everyone for a loop.”
As previously reported, Angus Cloud died on July 31, 2023, from an accidental drug overdose. He was only 25 at the time of his passing. Kevin Turen died months later on November 12. He suffered a cardiac emergency while reportedly driving his Tesla on autopilot mode. He was 44 at the time of his passing.
