Diddy & Daphne Joy Named In Federal Subpoena, Officials Request Surveillance Footage & Reservation Records From Miami Hotel Amid Rapper’s Ongoing Sex Abuse Investigation

New details have surfaced regarding music mogul Diddy’s ongoing abuse investigation.

In the latest, reports reveal that officials have subpoenaed an unnamed Miami hotel where the billionaire was staying with his rumored boo Daphne Joy, as authorities continue to recover evidence pertaining to the criminal case.

A report published this past Friday (Aug. 30) states that prosecutors from the Southern District of New York are looking to secure a number of documents regarding Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs‘ hotel visits beginning Jan. 1, 2008. The subpoena reportedly named Daphne Joy and a few other of the musician’s associates specifically, though the nature of her involvement is unclear at this time. If you recall, the model and mother of Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson‘s son was implicated in Diddy’s ongoing sexual abuse case by producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones, who alleged she and Yung Miami were paid to be Diddy’s sex workers.

The report notes that officials are requesting specific information, including check-in and check-out dates, room numbers, guest amenities and requests, as well as billing information, such as room service charges. Additionally, federal prosecutors have demanded the release of surveillance footage, email and mailing addresses, phone numbers, cash and credit payments, computer IP addresses, login credentials, copies of identification documents and vehicle information pertaining to Diddy and his associates. As you might remember, the hip-hop veteran’s disturbing hotel history caught up with him earlier this year after footage leaked of him abusing his ex-girlfriend Cassie.

It remains unclear what role the subpoena will play in Diddy’s ongoing legal troubles. It’s been reported that the REVOLT founder is currently at the center of a huge federal investigation out of New York, that may see him charged with a number of sexual abuse and RICO crimes. Last week (Aug. 26), Diddy’s legal team reportedly motioned to have the cornerstone of the investigation – the suit brought on by Lil Rod – dismissed. His lawyers slammed the producer’s  “salacious RICO conspiracy,” writing of the complaint:

“Running to nearly 100 pages, it includes countless tall tales, shameless celebrity namedrops, and irrelevant images…Yet despite all its hyperbole and lurid theatrics, [Jones] fails to state a single viable claim against any of Combs Defendants.”

Lil Rod responded in a scathing interview, where he claimed Diddy is a “monster” and that he’s fearful of his life. It has not been reported that Diddy’s team has made any remarks regarding the subpoena at this time.
