Raphael Saadiq mentioned,
“D’s in a good space… He’s excited. He’s like, ‘you gotta play bass. I’ve got this track. I’m telling you, you got to get on it. It got your name all over it.’”
Raphael Saadiq also teased a track connected to their earlier supergroup, Linwood Rose, suggesting it could be featured on the new album. He described the music as “funky as hell” and noted that it has aged well.
