Al B. Sure! has been working to rebuild his relationship with his son, Quincy Brown.

theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports that the two have put their strained relationship behind them and are becoming closer. Insiders shared with us that Quincy Brown (born to Al B. Sure! and the late Kim Porter) and his dad have been talking more and doing what’s needed to make up for time lost during their estrangement. They were even recently spotted together at the White House for an event.

Al B. Sure! rekindling his relationship with Quincy Brown comes amid the Brotherly Love actor’s adoptive father Diddy’s growing legal troubles. Late last night (Sep. 16) Diddy was arrested by the feds in New York following a grand jury indictment. Moments ago official reports confirmed he was charged with 3 counts: racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Prior to his arrest, Al B. alluded a few times to his distrust of Diddy. In March the “Nite and Day” artist insinuated that Diddy played a role in his 2022 coma. That same month, after Homeland Security raided Diddy’s homes, Al B. urged Quincy to come home. Captioning a throwback photo alongside Quincy, he wrote,

“#LettertoMySon! Come Home. The [door] is wide open. You’re safe here son! I Love you, Popz, Your Biological.”

The father-song-duo has definitely come a long way since Quincy penned an open letter to Al B. for being an absent father. In 2009, Quincy publically shared,

“Albert Brown, also known as ‘Al B Sure!’ is my biological father, but Sean Combs, also known as ‘Diddy’ has been a father figure in my life for as long as I can remember. Sean Combs is the person whom I look up to and appreciate as a father.”
