Ciara Addresses Critics Of Her Fashion Choices: ‘Opinions Don’t Matter’
Ciara is living her life without caring what anyone has to say — especially when it comes to her style.
The “Goodies” singer, 38, opened up about her fashion choices while speaking to Page Six about her partnership with Bebe, which she says “embodies that Y2K energy.”
When it comes to her style Ciara said she proudly takes it back to the early 2000s.
“I love the classic velour sweatsuit. It never gets old. It fits the body good; you can be comfy, but you can also be effortlessly fly.”
She also gave an honorable mention to low-rise jeans which she said,
“always finds a way of coming back around.”
Reflecting on some of her most iconic fashion moments over her 20-year career, Ciara added,
“I’ve come a long way when it comes to being affected by what people have to say. Opinions don’t matter; they really don’t. If you feel good about what you chose to wear, that’s all that matters.”
She continued,
“I think it’s only right to expect people to have opinions in the job that I have. But you know what’s amazing about critics? There’s never been a statue of a critic.”
