Drake’s Rep Denies Sending Cease & Desist To Block Kendrick Lamar From Performing ‘Not Like Us’ At Super Bowl
Drake is making it clear—he’s not blocking Kendrick Lamar from performing at the Super Bowl.
After rumors circulated that Drake sent a cease and desist letter to stop Kendrick Lamar from performing his No. 1 diss track “Not Like Us” during the Super Bowl LIX halftime show, the Toronto rapper’s rep reportedly told media outlets that the rumors are “not true.”
“There was never any intention or plan to send a cease and desist to anyone,” an additional source said, shutting down the claims that had sparked from an interview with Wack 100. The manager had alleged that Drake was trying to get the NFL to restrict Lamar from performing the hit diss track.
Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar has not commented on the rumors.
