Safaree Says He’s ‘Proud’ & Has ‘No Malice’ After Attending Nicki Minaj’s Miami Concert
Safaree Samuels is clearing the air after making waves at Nicki Minaj’s Miami concert on Sunday (October 6) during her Pink Friday 2 tour.
In viral clips from the night, Safaree Samuels was spotted hyped, dancing, and rapping along to Nicki Minaj’s biggest hits. His unexpected presence likely caught concertgoers off guard, given his past as Nicki Minaj’s ex and their public split in 2014.
The rapper and reality TV star was also seen being escorted out by security midway through the concert, as fans surrounded him, capturing the moment on their phones.
Following the show, Safaree quickly addressed the chatter on social media, where many questioned his attendance at the concert.
He made it clear he’s still a fan of Nicki, taking to X (formerly Twitter) to write,
“I’m proud no cap… a lot of y’all will never understand, but there is no malice in me… I’m proud.”
He also addressed rumors on Instagram, clarifying that he left the show on his own terms with his security:
“Umm that was all my security. Me and my jean vest left in peace on our own. Y’all reaching.”
Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj added to the excitement of the Miami show with a tweet of her own: “
“Yo Miami won. Y’all I’m cackling so loud.”
